Write for
SOLO Travel

Who better to tell the story of solo travel than you, the solo traveler? We are always open to pitches, which you can submit using the form below.

Notes about story pitches:

  1. Stories should be first-person narratives of your travels and adventures, or informative/philosophical essays that will help others on their way. What experiences have you had? What tips would you like to share? How has solo travel affected your day-to-day life? Where is the best place in the world (in your opinion)? Please only submit a pitch if you have experience traveling on your own.

  2. We’re not looking for lists of tourist attractions in well-known cities. We want deep dives, personal experiences, mishaps, celebrations—we want your real, lived experience of solo travel. Get personal. Get quirky. Get real!

  3. We have two main sections in the magazine. The first is for general stories about solo travel: things like tips and tricks, philosophical musings, tales of travel mishaps, and romance found while traveling. The second is destination stories, which features deep dives into specific cities, sites of importance, and near or far-flung regions. Please let us know which section you’re pitching for.
